Update 2017 August 25th

Added a paint pot which allows you to create enamel paints for armour in a selection of colours depending on the ingredients used. See the Compendium on the main website for full details. The enamels are created in coloured bottles with names and placed in your pack. To remove the enamel paint from an item you will need to find the spawning rare "pot of bleach" and use that as an ingredient. The pot of bleach will not be destroyed. The ingredients are fairly rare. Many are dropped by the boss mobs but some hues like tribal berry hue are a little easier to obtain.

Added a Witch's Cauldron house addon obtainable from the Hag Quest (Grizelda the Hag). This can be used as a food source (double click the stew in the pot) but more important if you have 10 severed elf ears in your pack or severed human ears, these will be added to the stew to produce an Elf Transmutation Potion or Human Transmutation Potion which changes your character to be an Elf or back to a Human. This will allow you to tame CuSidhe as well as role-play an elf. This addon is animated.

Slayer groups were missing the Crystal Elemental which is now vulnerable to the Elemental Ban super slayer and Elemental Health lesser slayer.

Toned down the damage from icy river and acid river. They were a bit brutal.

Added some server side patches to allow spawning of stealable rares
Added some new spawning rares like various rocks for example
Some existing rares could not be picked up due to the client over-riding the weights set in the item scripts. You will need to download a patched tiledata.mul file and over-write the existing one in your client folder. Download the new one here:

Update 2017 September 17th

Reduced shrunken pet weight to 1 stone
Reduced Spellbook weight to 1 stone
Added an intermediate level to Korpre pets at 100,000 kill points
Changed Korpre level 4 pet to Titan graphic and sound
Created a "Blessed container" which will only hold blessed or newbied items which remains with you on death
Enamel paints were checking cooking skill in error. Moved the skill check to using the paint pot to create paints
Added crafting resources to most boss mobs
Gold now weighs 1/3rd of previous weight
House vendors such as house bankers and house stablemasters will now obey the re-deed command "<name> quit"

Korpre2 (spider) pet was not immune to poison and did not poison its combat target. Poison level now increases with pet level

Toxic dragon was not immune to lethal poison

Acid river in Palace of Paroxsysmus had some places where you got damaged or killed which were not in the river.

Added house provisioner NPC

Reduced dex penalty on chain and dragon armour

Added house varietydealer NPC
Added Harmony Earrings (bonus to provo, discord and peacemaking if music 100)
Pet "drop" command now works for any tamed pet, not just bonded ones.
Set up for Halloween Event, global undead spawns etc.
Turned off town invasions during the Halloween event period.

Reduced weight of Rejuvenation Ankh requested by Mafghine for some seer purpose!
Created Sneaking Boots +20 to hiding and stealth if 100 hiding - to be reduced to +10 after Halloween event.
Magical Glasses - Fixed a bug in Scribe's Reading Glasses
Core code added to BaseHouse script for future emailing house decay warnings
Created faction masks (Orc & Elf) and faction sash (Humans) for forthcoming Orc vs Elf vs Human faction system.
Created Faction Sigil and Faction Monoliths (sigil stands) in the three faction bases
Work around for furniture dye tub. Would not grant access to locked down furniture target. Now allow dying of non locked items.
Arcane Gem is now stackable but will not display correctly until the next client patch of tiledata.mul file
Created Elf Captains and Elf Mages to assist the Dark Elves in protecting the Elf faction base
Modified Orc and Elf monsters to ignore people wearing the appropriate faction masks.
Modified a couple of floor tiles for forthcoming wall and floor crafting
Began adding code in stone crafting for forthcoming wall and floor crafting
Fixed a typo in the "Jason Bourne" town guard speech on killing a criminal.
Made a "spawning rare" version of the reward statuettes to replace the "Lord of Despise" one from the epic quest line
the new "Lord of Despise" statuette can be locked down in your home and will grunt as you approach.
Added some additional spawning stealables to Doom, Ankh and the Halloween event areas in Bloody Plains and the event Hedge Maze and Wind park

Update 2017 November 19th

November 5th gift bags created

Fixed a name bug on firebombs

Shard 3rd anniversary gift bags created, and also the next two years.

Korpre4 (The horde demon one) is now able to heal itself and deliver a special attack move

Released the "cleanup wisps" to remove lighter Halloween spawn.

Set up Thanksgiving and Christmas spawns and gifts. Corrected bugs in regular and giant turkeys. Toughed up Psycho turkeys to reflect player use of powerful Korpre pets.

Found and corrected the bug that was preventing our custom Frostwood, Bloodwood and Heartwood staves and bows from becoming slayers. Now normally crafted exceptional staves and bows have a 1 in 5 chance of being their appropriate slayer: Silver, Exorcism or Reptilian Death. These weapons crafted with the appropriate Runic Tool will become a slayer 100% of the time. These slayers also take on their new hues.

Added some new spawning items: Lamp post which turn on and off, some floor tiles and wall pieces for building upper floors on open houses.

Changed Dark Elves to two types, one for the faction war and one for the Christmas season

Made a dye tub for dying your Korpre pets

Korpre now use 3 control slots at level 4. Legacy Korpre are grandfathered currently at 2 control slots

Faction defining clothing, orc faction mask, elf faction mask and human faction cincture/sash completed and prevent faction elves orcs and humans from wearing orc masks etc. to prevent abuse.

Faction monoliths also received attention and background work done to prepare for the next stage of our 3 way faction system.

Anatomy now works on NPCs

Weapons and armor will now display their current and max hit points after their description like 48/72 once identified

If you have 100 ItemID Skill you can identify the contents of a container in one shot by targeting the container.

Hunter's Glasses give free tracking skill if you have GM Taming, Animal Lore and Vet

Tactical Hammer will now extract Tactical Essence from a weapon. However, this is so difficult that you can only extract one from a supremely accurate weapon. Once you obtain 6 you can turn any weapon into one that is supremely accurate. Note that an exceedingly accurate weapon only requires 5 essence to become supremely accurate. Requires GM Blacksmithy and GM Magery

Similarly a Duranium Hammer can extract one bar of Duranium Alloy from an indestructible weapon and 6 of these can be used to increase durability of another weapon. Requires GM Blacksmithy and GM Arms Lore

Finally, an Elemental Hammer can extract 1 vial of Elemental Power from a weapon of Vanquishing and 6 vials can be used to make a weapon Vanquishing. Requires GM Blacksmithy and GM Magery

Some of these resources can also be found to drop from some monsters.

Greater dragons reduced to 4 control slots and stat loss on tame reduced to 80%. Other dragon "types" reptalon and hiryu also reduced to 3 control slots and also stat loss reduction to 80%

Update 2017 December 16th

The Ankh dungeon has been fully populated. Previously only the South half was. Several inhabitants became undead while carrying out their duties. They are quite tough Paragon monsters. The Judge in his court room, the baker in the kitchen, The embalmer in the mortuary, the alchemist, the blacksmith and his ranger lord guard, a priest and a music conductor. All waiting to kill you! These mobs all have a chance to drop the new resources and crafting hammers necessary to imbue weapons, and shortly armour. Please note it is very easy to over-pull both the court room and the Red Death stables so use caution. Should you meet an untimely death you will find some healing fairies in the chapel who will resurrect you.

The Ankh dungeon boss is Navrey Night Eyes. A vicious spider. As a peerless boss, she drops the usual resources for crafting and dye creation and high level loot plus a chance of an artefact or the "Night Eyes" night vision glasses which I have just created and also the Hunter's Glasses from last week. Navrey is immune to poison and she enjoys inflicting lethal poison on her victims. Navrey also correctly drops "Tangle", a blessed apron similar to the Crimson Cincture. Tangle gives you +10 intelligence while worn.

The dungeon has also had some stealables created and added to it. I won't say any more about that currently.

In the Sorcerer's Dungeon, "the school", the undead head teacher "The Beak" has had the new resources added to his loot drop chance. Again, the classrooms of undead girls and boys are very easy to over-pull so use caution. There are also one or two new stealables in this dungeon along with the large flame which has been there some time now.

Update 2017 December 21st

The shard beetle (yes we do have one!) has been reduced to 2 control slots

Crafted Golems have been upgraded. The old ones were pretty useless which leaves miners and their ilk defenceless. New golems will be much more useful especially if crafted by a GM Tinker with Carpenter's gloves on, boosting Tinkering to 110. They are quite resilient and do a reasonable amount of damage, giving their operators protection against monsters like ogres, ettins, water elementals and spiders. With 800 to 900 hit points and high resistances they have some survivability out in the field or even in a dungeon. Newly crafted golems will be a shiny brassy colour as you would expect from something made from bronze and iron. Much like a highly polished version of the dirty "wild" ones

Golems are repaired using the tinkering skill or a Tinker Repair Deed made by a tinker. Again, best results are achieved by a tinker wearing the skill boost gloves. The damage healed is related to the skill of the repairer and 110 skill gives you an additional bonus heal of 10 hit points, taking the max healing to 90 odd per attempt or per deed. Repairs can be made every 5 or 6 seconds.

Tinker repair deeds are no longer restricted for use in tinker shops, they may be used anywhere out in the field to allow repair of your golem.

Crimson Cincture now correctly gives +5 to Dex when worn. Still working on the +10 Hits

Skeletal Dragons are now tamable with 105.1 taming and 100 spirit speak. Successful control also requires spiritspeak
