Update 2017 May 28th

Fishbowls were not displaying the type of fish contained therein. Corrected
Air elemental "body" deletes on death
Coil fame & karma corrected
Repair deeds were showing the cliloc number. Now shows the skill title (Grandmaster etc), the skill name and the crafter name.
Tinkers can now make repair deeds which should enable people to repair their own golems
Added some more quest NPCs to context menu system including escorts.
Magic jewellery of reactive armour has been correctly named. It said "of reaction" before.

Update 2017 June 3rd

This week we created a one-off mining/fishing barge which was the prize for a quest following the old shard mining boat being lost in a transporter accident at Serpents Pillar. Four paragon kraken were seen at the site of the sinking boat and search parties were sent out to locate and kill them. It was rumoured that the blueprints to a new mining barge was left in the old ship's hold and that the kraken had ripped this into four pieces and carried them off. The four quarters of the blueprints were recovered after a long search and presented to the Dwarf shipyard who kindly produced the gleaming new barge at no additional cost. The barge also came with a cabin which is accessed by the use of a "ship dongle". On re-use you are returned to your deck. Once marked, by using the dongle on your deck, you can travel to the boat instantly from almost anywhere as if recalling off the key.

The ship dongle and cabin are also available for normal boats as a purchasable item. The price of a cabin is 500,000 gold pieces and this comes with one dongle. Additional dongles sharing the same cabin can be purchased for 50,000 gold each. There are initially 10 cabins which will be allocated by GMs on a first come, first served basis.

Some furry animals now have a small chance of dropping a fur (rug type thing). There are two basic types in three colours

Added a simple town invasion system to wend away your hours :-)

Update 2017 June 13

Ship "dongle" updated to automatically take the name of the ship when first marked or re-marked after docking
Created a Cabin marker in each cabin which when used, and targeting a dongle, marks the dongle for use of that cabin.
You can now gate from a boat key to the deck just as recall
MIB and SOS now display their levels
Tracking skill now shows sea creatures. Animal ones under animals and Sea Serpents under monsters.
Tracking skill gump now shows animals in their skin hue which identifies paragons by their gold skin colour
Ore elementals now drop 25 ore as per UOGuide not the paltry 2 that they used to!
Blacksmith Guildmaster was buying items from players. We can't have that can we? :)
Staves can now be repaired by a carpenter
Fish bowls now display type of fish if present

Ship dongles will now also teleport bonded pets set to follow/guard with you onto your boat (as with recall) but not into the cabin.

Creatures killed by members of your guild will now be lootable without turning you criminal and the corpse will highlight grey as if killed by yourself

Display cabinets and acid proof rope had disappeared from the carpentry menu in the last update <slaps self>. Fixed.

It is now possible for a spellbook to have slayer properties

Update 2017 July 10th

Spellbooks now display slayer names
Fix for animals which on taming had their individual skill caps set at 100 even when they had over 100 points in a skill. This was preventing them from gaining their skills over 100
Fix for crash caused by the last update which allows people of the same guild to loot each other's kills. Seemed to be caused but a monster rummaging the corpse and someone looting a corpse that had no killer, for example a trap or a GM kill.
Added house secure expansion deeds to plat and donation rewards. 1 secure per.
Added house lockdown expansion deeds to plat and donation rewards. 50 lockdowns per.
Added gloves of Blacksmithing +10 to skill gloves deed plat and donation reward.
Character slot expansion deed now allows you to have 5 characters on an account it is applied to
Skeletal Lich adjusted, now gives more loot and fame to reflect its difficulty.
Runic Hammer selector deed added to Platinum and Donation reward items

Update 2017 July 16:

A silver hammer has been created. This item comes with 100 usage charges and cannot be recharged. Using the hammer and targeting a silver weapon will extract 1 silver ingot and return the weapon with no slayer properties. If you have a weapon which you would like to make a silver undead slayer then you use the hammer on it. The process requires 6 silver ingots. One charge will be used every time the hammer is used.

An exploit with using or combining ore through a house wall has been fixed by applying a line of sight check to use of the ore.

Added more heat sources to those acceptable for smelting ore. Eleven forge, fire pit and shadow firepit are now included.

Fixed another crash bug relating to the use of area effect, field or self-targeting spells. Normally these would not be an issue but in a town invasion where the guards are turned off, these spells are permitted in town and the crash was caused when a town crier or elite guard were targeted.

Fixed bug in house lockdown expansion deed - did not allow enough expansions for houses with large number of secure containers
Added new coloured Greater Dragons. Each colour spawns in a particular location. They normally spawn in a lighter hue but have a chance of spawning a darker hue. Red, Green, Blue or Sand/White/Black
Enabled the following creatures:
Iron Beetle: Give it a shovel and it will dig ore for you. When it has 1000 it will deposit them in your bank. Does not yet have the drop command
Rot Worm, Blood Worm, Navery Night Eyes, Mimic, Gremlin, Greater Poison Elemental (lethal), Grey Goblin Mage.
Tweaked silver hammer. Now makes the hammer noise on use and needs to be within 2 tiles of a forge and anvil.
Added Scrapper's Compendium spellbook. This will be craftable with very hard to obtain ingredients. Has a chance to do 25% extra damage.
Added Tinkering skill bonus to Carpenter's Gloves reward item
Added Irk's Brain which is the key needed to access Dread Horn's island
Added a gate which opens to Dread Horn Island if the key is carried by a player. The gate remains open for one hour.
Burglar's Bandana skill bonuses have been enable for this shard. + 10 to Stealing, Snooping and Stealth while worn.
Monk's hooded robe added

Updated Dread Horn boss horse to the correct stats, abilities and drops

Added pet parrots! These will drop as a bird shaped token from bosses and can be named and placed on a crafted parrot perch and fed with parrot wafers. Parrots come in one of 25 colours from almost black to white and many colours in between. Axing the perch re-deeds it and the parrot.

Modified MANY monsters to drop treasure maps. Being able to drop a treasure map is the trigger for allowing a paragon monster the chance to drop a chest.

Modified most boss mobs and some others to drop parrots and other items.

Please ensure that you keep any substances that you find on boss mobs. These will be used to craft a selection of new potions and tinctures in the next week or two.

Reduced the damage done by area spells when used in player houses to just one point.

Increased the level at which fire field will grant resist increases to 50 points as per OSI

Super Slayer deeds will now colour the weapon, spellbook or instrument that they are used on. Undead Slayer to Silver, Exorcism to red, Repond to blue, Elemental to flame orange, Reptilian to green, Fey to black and Arachnid to purple. The silver hammer will also create silver weapons hued silver from now on. All existing slayer weapons will be unaffected and dungeon drop slayers will remain their usual non-hued colour.

These changes have been brought in early this week in view of the Super-Boss hunts planned for this weekend.

Update 2017 August 6th

Slayer removal deed removes both slayers from a weapon by default. They now have a context menu "Next" to change this to First or Second slayer removal or back to Both again.
If you remove the First slayer (or both obviously), the weapon (or spellbook) will return to normal hue.

Healing Fairies released from their jar will now follow your commands again so you can pop one somewhere safe and command it to stay, where it will remain for 30 minutes.

Parrot Perches have been fixed and extended. They will now bring back a re-deeded parrot. The deed will carry the parrot's name and will be in the hue of the parrot.

Superboss monsters cannot now become Paragons. Some still were previously.

FINALLY fixed guild chat :)
Fixed and enabled champion spawns
Added banker and stablemaster contracts for house NPCs buyable at the plat and donation vendors.
Added water sprinkler. Now water all the plants in your house in one go. 50 Plat. Requires the sprinkler filler, 10 Plat.
